A man in Hartselle woke up Wednesday to find his home had been burglarized.

The victim told police he woke up around 3 a.m. and found the front door was open.

He further discovered his home and his vehicles had been burglarized. Responding officers located two suspects nearby and took them into custody.

Officers discovered that other vehicles in the area had also been broken into.

Stolen property was found near the crimes and in the possession of the suspects.

20-year-old Daniel Lamar Knight and 19-year-old Brandon Ray Roberts were arrested and charged with burglary second degree, burglary third degree and breaking and entering a vehicle. Their bonds were set at $60,000 each.

Other charges are pending for the addition auto break ins.
